Despite living in suburban Chicago, my roots are rural. I’m lucky enough to be a member of a sixth-generation farm family, where, for the better part of the last century, King Farms and Walnut Grove Farm have been stewards of the land in Knox County, Illinois. Cash crops, beef cattle, dairy cattle, plants, flowers, and agro-tourism, we’ve done it all.

Nathan King Woodworking is an extension of these two farms. I offer sustainably sourced walnut lumber, repurposed barn boards, and fabricated pieces for sale. If it is on this website, there’s a good chance it is tied to these farms.
